Your brand in ChatGPT

Add Archetype as an MCP app, and ChatGPT writes with your real brand.

Connect ChatGPT

What you get

  • ChatGPT reads your voice documents, colors, type, logos and templates from the brand itself, not from a pasted style guide.
  • Ask for anything in the brand by name and it finds it with search_brand.
  • Before it calls a draft done, it grades the copy with check_against_brand against your voice documents, line by line.

Connect Archetype to ChatGPT

  1. 1. In ChatGPT on the web, open Settings and turn on Developer mode.

  2. 2. Create a new MCP app named archetype, choose OAuth, and paste this URL:

    https://www.heyarchetype.com/api/mcp
  3. 3. Sign in once. Create the app and approve in the browser. The browser asks which brand to share, and whether ChatGPT may edit it.

Try it

  • “Write a product update email in our brand voice.”
  • “Draft a social post announcing our new feature, using our voice and messaging.”
  • “What are our brand colors, and when should each be used?”
  • “Check our homepage against the brand and list what’s off.”

Questions

Does it cost extra in ChatGPT?

Not on Archetype’s side. Connected agents take no seat: seats are for people, so connect as many tools as your team uses. Archetype itself starts with a 14-day trial, no card needed.

Can ChatGPT change my brand?

Only if you allowed edits when you connected it, and then one item at a time, when you ask. Every change is logged and can be undone, and you can revoke the connection at any time.

I have several brands. Can I connect them all?

Yes, one connection per brand, each under its own name, like archetype-acme and archetype-nova. Each signs in on its own, and you pick its brand on the consent screen.

Why does it need Developer mode?

Developer mode, in ChatGPT’s Settings on the web, is where you create an MCP app of your own. Archetype is a remote MCP server with OAuth sign-in, so it’s added there.
