Your brand in Claude
Add Archetype as a custom connector, and Claude writes and designs with your real brand.
Connect ClaudeWhat you get
- Claude reads your voice documents, colors, type, logos and templates from the brand itself, not from a pasted style guide.
- Ask for anything in the brand by name and it finds it with search_brand, so “our logo on dark” is your logo on dark.
- Before it calls a draft done, it grades the copy or the page with check_against_brand, worst issue first.
Connect Archetype to Claude
1. In Claude, open Settings → Connectors and click Add custom connector.
2. Name it archetype and paste this URL:
https://www.heyarchetype.com/api/mcp3. Sign in once. Click Add, then Connect beside archetype, and approve in the browser. The browser asks which brand to share, and whether Claude may edit it.
Try it
- “Write the launch announcement for our new feature in our brand voice.”
- “Draft three LinkedIn posts about our latest customer story, in our tone.”
- “Make a one-page sales sheet with our colors, type and logo.”
- “Check the copy on our pricing page against our brand voice and tell me what’s off.”
Questions
Does it cost extra in Claude?
Not on Archetype’s side. Connected agents take no seat: seats are for people, so connect as many tools as your team uses. Archetype itself starts with a 14-day trial, no card needed.
Can Claude change my brand?
Only if you allowed edits when you connected it, and then one item at a time, when you ask. Every change is logged and can be undone, and you can revoke the connection at any time.
I have several brands. Can I connect them all?
Yes, one connection per brand, each under its own name, like archetype-acme and archetype-nova. Each signs in on its own, and you pick its brand on the consent screen.
Is this the guide for Claude Code too?
No. This one is for Claude on the web and the desktop app, where you add a custom connector in Settings. Claude Code adds the server from the terminal, and has its own guide.
