Sharing
Publish your brand as a read-only website with one link, and work across several brands from one account.
Every brand has one share link: a read-only website of the whole brand at https://www.heyarchetype.com/share/<brand-slug>. It is private until you make it public. Use it to show the brand to people who aren't on the team, such as an agency, a freelancer or a new hire before their invite.
What the link shows
There is nothing to compose. The link renders everything the brand holds, read fresh on every visit, so it is never out of date. It has one page per area, and a page only appears when the brand has something in it:
| Page | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Foundations | Colors, typography, spacing, radius, shadow and logos. The link opens here. |
| Components | The UI kit, as it is actually built. |
| Assets | Photography, illustration and documents from the library. |
| Artifacts | Generative pieces, with the dials they're tuned by. |
| Templates | Ready-made layouts, set in the brand. |
| Voice | The brand's Knowledge documents: how the brand sounds. |
Only finished work is shown: items marked Complete, or with no state at all. Drafts and work in review stay inside the app. See Item states.
The shared pages ask search engines not to index them. Anyone with the link can see them, but nobody finds them by searching.
Make the link public
You need the Admin or Owner role, or a custom role that manages connections. Everyone else sees whether the link is public, but can't change it.
- 1
Open Settings → General
Find Share link. On the left is a small preview of the page the link opens.
- 2
Choose Public
Switch from Private to Public. The line under the switch now reads "Anyone with the link can see everything in the brand."
- 3
Copy the link
The link appears under the switch. Select the copy button next to it and send it to whoever needs it.
To take it down, switch back to Private. From then on only the brand's own members can open the page, and anyone else gets a page that doesn't exist.
When the link is public, connected agents get its address with the brand's info from get_brand, so they can point people to it. See MCP tools.
When the link stops working
- The slug changes. The link ends in the brand's slug, and so does every agent's MCP address. Changing it in Settings → General (Slug, then Change) breaks both until people use the new one. The confirm says so before you press Change slug.
- The brand is locked. If the trial ends or the plan lapses, the link stops working until the plan is renewed. See Plans and trial.
Several brands
One account can belong to several brands, for example one per product, or one per client if you are an agency. Each brand is separate: its own team and roles, its own plan and credits, its own share link and its own MCP address for agents.
Switch brands
When you belong to more than one brand, select the brand name in the top-left corner of the top bar and pick another. You can also go to Settings → General, find Your brands and select Switch brand.
Everything you open afterwards, including Settings, is about the brand you switched to.
Start a new brand
- 1
Open Settings → General
Find Your brands and select New brand.
- 2
Fill in the basics
Enter the Brand name. Website and Description are optional, but worth adding: setup can read the brand from the website, and every agent reads the description first. Under Set up for, pick Product, Marketing or both to get a setup checklist for that kind of work.
- 3
Create it
Select Create brand. You are its Owner, and Archetype switches you to it.
Each brand is billed on its own, with its own subscription and invoices. To have several brands on one bill, talk to us about Enterprise from the Plan tab.
Agents connect to one brand at a time. If someone works across several, they add one connector per brand. See Connect an agent.
